Colorado GMU #11
Any help or info on Colorado Unit 11 would be appreciated. Leaving next Wed Oct 15 for a trip there. I' ve been a couple times before but no elk yet. Got a mulie a couple of years ago in the area, but just can' t seem to find the elk. Need help getting away from all of the hunting pressure. Areas to try or any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have hunted around and in 11 a few times. Just west of Elk springs there are some draws that head up north, I have seen elk in those draws plenty of times. Also the hills south of the highway east and at Elk Springs have elk on them a lot as well. There are a lot of hunters in the area, hike well away from the roads and you should do well.
