I was wanting to know if any of the Rocky Mtn states allow cross bow hunting for elk and if it is part of the general archery season or its own season? Thanks for all your info, NBH.

Colorado does not unless you have a disability certificate.

Montana will,but only during rifle season,also have to wear orange.

wyoming it is considered a bow so it can be used thru out the archery season
