First shot
#1
Went shooting with my son and daughter yesterday and my son got to shoot his first high power rifle and my daughter started shooting the 22 also. He took the first shot with the 270 (towel between the shoulder) and immediately said " I want to shoot it again.
I gave him a couple more shots and told him to take out the towel. At first he was a little scared about it but he did it and again " I want to shoot it again" came out.[

I don' t know if he hit the target or not but he' s now hooked and it looks like I' ll be buying a new rifle that fits him here before too long. My daughter didn' t want to shoot anything at all
but I talked her into taking one shot with the .22 and after that she didn' t want to quit.
Now if I can work my daughter up to the bigger rifles in a few years I' ll have a couple of kids to show how to clean an elk!

Ah sounds like a blast cant wait till my daughter is old enough to start her shooting the .17. Sense it has no recoil and u can see bullet impact through the scope she might enjoy it. Sounds like had a great time[8D]
