I live in harlan county ky they are oping a 2 day bear season in December 2009. I don't know any thing about bear hunting where should I start? I have deer hunted for years but never see bears while hunting. I see bears while 4 wheeler riding and at night on my way home from work and they tear my garbage out every few weeks. what will bears be doing in late December? what should I look for when scouting? there are plenty of bears here but I just don't know how to hunt them.
