I'm not familiar with the steelforce heads, but any stout and razor sharp broadhead that flies well and hits where you aim will work.

I am going bear hunting next march and I have the same concern. I'm not sure if I should use a fixe or mech broadhead, after asking around I send an email to Bruce Barrie owner of the Rocky Mountain broadheads and he answer this:

Jose: Thanks for your interest in our Titanium. I have almost the exact same set up as you do except I use Easton ACC arrows.
I have taken bear, deer, and hogs with this set up using the Snyper. The Snyper would be a real good choice for you. In fact we went last spring to New Brunswick and 5 of us killed bears using the Snyper with excellent results. The titanium 100 would work fine too but by using the Snyper you can keep your speed. I would stay away from heads like our Assassin our Xtreme (jack Knife Style) for bear hunting because in most cases they only give a small entrance hole where as the Snyper will give you a large entrance hole. Good luck and send me a success photo.
Bruce Barrie (owner)

good luck ...

WV: It's nice to see a homeboy on here. Any set-up that you use for deer should work on bear. Study the vital area and with enough Kenetic Energy you'll be able to push your broadhead through. Good Luck!!
