Effect of bear on deer hunting?
I'm 95% a deer hunter and 5% bear. So, in other words, I don't want my bear hunting to interfere with my deer hunting. I've never really heard anyone talk about how bear affect deer travel. I have bears on my property and I'm currently baiting for bear. Will that have a big affect onthe deer? what are your experiences/thoughts?

from my personal experiences only, whenever i had bear in my immediate area...i saw no deer. bear are a deer natural predator and i believe they will avoid them at all cost. if you see a deer close to a bear, i'm willing to bet the deer will be down wind and out of hearing/eye sight.

no kidding. it's getting pretty obvious to me that every time a bear passes by an area the deer are freaked out for the next couple days. hopefully we'll thin the heard buzz.
