Default ME moose guides

Is there a website that lists guide services for Maine? Or better yet, does anyone have guides that they can refer me to? Thanks in advance!! E-mail if you'd like.

Old doe, contact your state game & fish dept. they should have list of guides for their state. Happy moose hunting.

P.S. Ask for references from the guide and ask your game &fish dept. if there has been any complaints filed against the one you decide to use

You dont have to worry about finding them if
you draw. The way I heard it, you would know
you drew because your mailbox would suddenly
get full of packets from guides. Same thing
when I drew for elk in WY.

Regarless of who you choose, you should go with a guide. The Moose are getting smarter and can be difficult to find.In the past there were a ;ot less areas that were clearcut so all the animals stayed around there. Now they are cutting everywhere and they seem to be spread out more.We find the best way is to hire a float plane and spot them from the air first.

Thanks for the links guys! And I think that using a guide would be the only way to go with being non-resident. Plus I've never been to Maine. And I'll hope and pray for my mailbox to full in June/July (but not holding my breath). Good luck on the lottery all<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
