I was thinkin. So far these turkeys have been beating the crap out of me. So I found something that I can use that will let me give my crap to them. This would be cool.

I hope not as well! I wish you some good luck on getting your truck back up and running. That should be cheaper than a whole wiring harness though..

Im getting out beat too gonna try this week heavy though..

Took DTC Jr out before school this morning. Heard 5 different birds gobble. Called 3 jakes right in and he passed on them. I don't know many 10 yr olds that will pass a jake at 10 steps. 2 of the jakes finally left and 1 stayed around and out of no where I see a strutter running in. He circles around our jake mobile decoy and the boy smoked him. Bird was 23 1/2 lbs, 10 1/8" beard and 7/8" spurs. I took him to my mom and she got him to school so I could hunt. Got on several birds but couldn't get anything to work. I saw 7 gobblers on 1 farm, 3 on another, and heard 2 shock gobble on a different farm. I will be back at it Thursday. Dtc, tell your son, that turkey killing machine, congrats again! Hope you get another 1 also. Sounds like you know where they are.

430. Am, only gonna get a morning hunt in today, and the weathers is supposed to get bad again so not sure how much I'll be able to get out the next couple days after this one. Gonna hit em hard this morn. Not sure if I can get em to respond to the call 2 days in a row but gonna try. If they won't I'll try to wait em out and catch em when they cross.

I think that is the best thing to wait them out. I hear a lot of talk about running and gunning. That is not for me as, I would rather have the turkeys hanging around for some more hunting. To me that makes more sense than having run over to the next county.. Good Luck to you the team is routing for you and everyone else out there as well!
