hi guys sorry i'v not been up on all the post but i'v been busy working and scouting every night and sat/sun am looking for birds well i have a plan a/b/c/d/e/f/g and every one is on privet prop but two and their so far of the betten path no ones hunting them but me 4 weeks in a row now no other sign of guys
on the bright site i;m seeing good birds evey time out
had 5 gobblers this am in 1 spot and 3 at 2nd stop[ at 10am
i start hunting next monday the 21 st so hope thing stay the same for me
anyway good job to all you guys that scored all ready and i hope to join you in a week and we should win this thing

Full post and pics to come, but man that was THE most crazy turkey hunt Ive ever been. Ill give a teaser of 8, yes eight, raccoons within 3 yards. Turkey within 4 yards.

Anyway the bird was a semi-hefty 22 lbs 15 oz, 9" or so beard, 1 1/8" spurs.

Hopefully Ill top that score over the next 3 weeks, but hey, Im on the board!

Had a great 10 days of hunting. I connected with 3 birds (1 eastern and 2 rios).

Eastern score:

1st Rio score:
Your score is 20.5 + 6.25 + 5 + 17 = 48.75

2nd Rio score (jake):
Your score is 14.5625 + 2.5 + 2.5 + 7 = 26.5625

oh man you guys makin me jealous. 7 days and not coming quick enough. i got 3 properties scouted. with a total of over 15 gobbler. but who knows what will happen.

and i think we may just be at the top of the roost this contest.
