I think I'll be heading to a different place next Monday down in Lowndes county. One of my buddies has a nice spread down below Selma. He killed a real good gobbler opening morning and says there are several more in the area. We're planning for Monday so hopefully we'll get on some birds. I'll be at my place for a few days late this week and early next week, so maybe they'll be a little more willing and ready. The week before Easter I'm planning to head out to a buddy's land after work one day and try and catch some Georgia birds out in the fields. I'm having to work to hard for these birds these days!

SS, I know what you mean about working hard! I've got several places to hunt, but just not seeing much sign or hearing any birds now. It's gonna turn around, you got some solid plans in front of you. We gotta tighten up! Lol!!

Packing up to go out of town to a new spot. Got a friend that needs help on a hopefully first turkey. I haven't hunted this place before but he says he's been hearing a lot of birds! We'll have 6500 acres to roam around on, surely we can find a willing bird somewhere! I'll post tomorrow to let ya know how it goes. Good luck to everyone hunting this weekend!
