It's great to be on a Team again and I'm getting Turkey on the brain real bad just like you guys. I might hunt Kentucky this year because they get 2 Toms in spring season,as you know Arrowmaster we get just one in our Hoosier Land. I have not been on a Team since I played softball in 1980 so I'm looking forward to the challenge of beating out those other lesser Turkey hunters on the loosing teams.LOL!

I hear ya doetrain. Since we can only shoot 1 in Indiana Ive been going to Missouri every year since 2003. They have a 2 bird limit as well. I love hunting in Missouri. Now this year Im adding Florida to start my grand slam. I leave this Thursday and will be hunting Saturday morning for sure if not later in the day on Friday. Im ready to feel the rush and I can feel it coming.

The Kentucky season for adults is a little over 3 weeks out so I'll have to wait just a little longer. I hope it cools back down between now and then a little chill in the morning air would be my cup of tea. Good hunting in the sunshine state and the native Turks there.

Hey guys, sorry I've been away with no updates for you. I'm just now getting to sit down. I hunted Thursday and Friday with no luck. Didn't hear but one or two birds and they were off the property. Didn't see a single bird. Friday afternoon my 7 months pregnant wife had a car accident while visiting family 200 miles away in north alabama. Our little cavalier was totaled out but thank the good Lord both she and the baby are ok. I went up to stay with her friday night as they monitored her in the hospital, and also stayed Saturday night so I didn't get back in the woods until yesterday. That was cut short because one of our supplier plants caught fire and pretty much burnt to the ground, so we had to round up the troops to try and get things going this week. Yesterday morning I had a little more action but still nothing like it needs to be. I called up a jake off the roost, he had one of the best sounding gobbles I've ever heard....coulda swore he was a mature bird. I got on one that was gobbling ok around 9 but he never showed much interest and shut up. I waited him out, even moved around to try and get him to chase me, but nothing. Another hunter came in to the adjacent property and started blowing up the calls so I just blew back at him until he left....then I left. I'll get to go again soon though, hopefully they'll be going full throttle after a few days break. Ethan, go score us another whopper bud! Georgia's season opens Saturday so I may get to go a day or two over there..........if I decide to buy the out of state license. It's pretty cheap in GA compared to bama though.

SS, I'm tryin to round up some land to hunt! Taking some people out all weekend, but I'll be calling for them. Maybe some birds will move back on my place, it's getting dry now, I'll check it next week. Hunting north bama April 1-4 for the opener, got a GOOD place there. Also got an invite to Ohio in May. I'm going to do all I can to lay some down!!
