My dad hung on to my first two recurves and finnaly handed them over to me, one of these days i would like to try and score a Doe with it, i was young when i had them, there were not alot of deer back then and i did not have a clue what i was doing never scored with them. I need to restring them and get some new arrows. here is a pic of them. Top was my second bow...Bear Grizly45#

I'll go 10 ydswith them Jeff, I can squeeze that out diagonally in my basement. And that should allow to call for each shot at that range.

Bloodcreek,
It is a lake valley longbow, from what I understand they are a small custom shop up near Erie Pa. The shop close to my house carries those and other bow lines.
I've got a Shakespeare Neceda recurve,(what I used as a kid) and I'll be picking up a couple other recurves from my parents that my Dad used when he was a kid. I need to check them out and get strings for them. Trying to talk my dad into practicing with one to take to the woods.

If you guys are serious about shooting the longbows for the entire league, I'll be glad to include a traditional class. Let me know if this is something you can commit to for the entire league. We would need 2x people committed to doing this for the entire 7 weeks.

Not it. I don't know if I could handle the math; 0 + 0 + 0... too depressing. Hey! Speaking of math, where's Wash this year? I need someone to add my scores for me!!!

I was wondering how long it would take before someone mentioned me again this year.

I dunno guys... I hadn't planned on signing up this year. I've been seriously considering selling the Allegiance and going with something else this year, and I wouldn't want to be without a bow for a portion of the contest.

Excuses, excuses, right?

I suppose if you really miss me that much, I could sign up...
