Well I had no luck today at all. Only deer I got to see was while I was in the car driving in to my location. Hopefully I will have better luck tomorrow. Only good part of today was getting to try out my new Lonewolf stand and sticks.

well season here in iowa has been open for the 2nd day...and im sittin here empty handed....tonight i went out after school..and as soon as i snuggled down into my ladder stand....a big flock of turkeys came rippin through the woods...then a lil bit after that i had 5 does make their way out in front of me like 20 yards...but no bucks....a very slow night..hope it picks up....cold front is coming through....lets keep our fingers crossed!

Well, I had a doe at 29 yards tonight, but she was facing head on and knew that something wasn't right. She finally blew and ran off. She wasn't really spooked, just thought something wasn't quite natural. I don't know if she actually saw me or not. I'm back at it in the morning!!!!

Well the last two days for me were a bust. Didn't see a single deer while on stand. I should be back at it next weekend!

Alright, I don't know about any of you but I would like to see us on the board. Who's going to lay the smack down on a buck for us? I will be back out again next weekend.

WELL I WENT OUT FOR A AFTERNOON HUNT AND ONLY SAW ONE DOE. WHEN I GOT BACK UP TO THE TRUCK THE LAND OWNER NEXT TO ME SHOWED ME A TRAIL PHOTO OF WHAT LOOKS TO BE A 14 POINTER. THERE IS A DROP TINE ON THE LEFT SIDE. THE NICE THING IS THAT THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN ON THE FENCE LINE AND HE WAS COMING ONTO ME. ME AND KEITH ARE NOW IN A RACE FOR THE BIG BOY. HE IS GOING TO EMAIL ME A COPY AND I WILL POST IT ONCE IT GET IT.

The morning hunt was boring with no sightings. Heading out in a bit for another hunt. Hopefully this onegoes better.

Say just a reminder... One team lost out on two bucks because the twoguys didn't have bows in their pictures. I know stuff happens in the heat of the moment when a guy is rushing around to get everything done. Remember the camera to take a picture of your buck, you and your bow.
