Took my son to camp and all 4 of my hunting buddies were there. Needless to say, we were so loud from laughing, there were no deer near our camp. Everybody wantedto get readyfor the season but we didn't get very muchdone, although we did get the trailerready.I have to go back to get my stands ready.I had a great plan but couldn't help but have a good time with my son and my buddies!

Good Luck Alberta. I have to wait 6+ weeks. Bow season starts 10-18 in Southern NY and we only get 4 weeks this year!

I am trying to upload a picture but it is not working like last year. I try to figure it out soon the picture is a real pack of racks. This summer we built a new hunting shack. It is inside of a 50 x 70 shed. About 1800 ft of living space. We named it the Rack Shack it should be ready by Nov. MN opener is the 13th of Sept but I am not going until the 20th. I am shooting at the first doe I see and I will take any buck over 140. If you have any advise on loading a picture let me know

Does anyone see it as bad luck to post any pictures of the deer they have been seeing. I've got a few good ones but don't want to go bragging on anything. Don't matter what I see if I can't bring it home when it's all said and done. Got some good shots if anyone is interested.

drop'd my bow off today...my limbs came in after 4 weeks should be done in a day or two. then out to the range to
get everything back to normal.[8D] Do any of you guys use a decoy when hunting? was thinking about it. Give me any tips or IMO's |

Lets see if I can post pictures again, here we go.
       I cropped a few to see if they would turn out. At the time my card would only hold 150 pictures and ittook all of them in 3 days. These are just a few of course. My cousinowns thetwo corn fields a bean field to the west and a large area of timber all packed into one. I bow hunt and he rifle hunts only. It works out great for both of us.He has pictures of 4 this size. These are 3 different deer.Nothing just huge but I'm excited. |

I'm heading out tomorrow for the weekend. My buddy saw a couple nice 3 point blacktails last weekend, after we split up of course. I'll check in on Mon. when I get back.

I am still having problems with my computer but I will get the avatar fixed soon. A 140 to 150 10pt.was spotted on some land I can hunt on friday night. Can't wait for the 20th the weather has been amazing should be down in the 30 for a low tomarrow in MN.

Opening day i went out and seen 9 does a 150 class 10 point and then a bigger 170 10 point (all crossed the same cutline. Yesterday i went out behind my house and i found a stag herd consisting of two spikes a 135-140 class 8 point and beleive it another 150-160 class 10 point
I tryed to make a move on them but i ran out of cover and opted to back out before they spotted me. i cannot wait to get back out there. |

Season starts saturday but wont be able to make it out till probably sunday. Only problem is i have to shoot a doe first.

Hey Fellas, didn't see any bucks this last weekend, but we did call in a nice Bull. He wouldn't come past 60 yards, a little to far and a bit too brushy. Alberta good luck to ya, shoot a big one.

Gundeck...can you believe these guys are out hunting and we have to wait another 30 days yet....it's killing me. I stopped at Gander today to drop off 5 arrows to be refletched. I bought $40.00 worth of stuff. You know...more steps,bow holders, gutting gloves...all that misc stuff that we always need. Then I went to the grocery store to stock up on all the misc stuff (paper plates, drink cups, etc) we needed from there. I am so ready!

I am leaving tomarrow 4hr drive. My dad seen a small 120 inch behind the barn last night doesn't sound like a shooter but would be fun to see. I will check in on Sunday night.
