I've got Dustin (dstubb) working on getting us an avatar. He said he is about done with the design and will be sending it for our approval. He is asking $20 for the design so I am sending him a paypal payment,but anyone that would like to help out with the cost contact me and we'll work something out.

Sorry for the delay in logging in. I was only joking with my vote for team captain. I am sure you will do a fine job Leland. The team name is great. I am located in Western NY (in the Finger Lakes region). This is my second year of serious archery hunting (after abouta 15 year break). I am using a Bear Instinct. Our season starts Oct 18.

Hey guys, I emailed all the missing members this morning, and since then Gundeck has joined us. I talked with Rob, and they allow 2 weeks before they start placing alternates.

Rack Pack isounds great to me and I love the avatar.Bow hunted the past 8 years and finally got a 3 point last year.This is my first year in the contest. I hunt on private land in WNY and have missed my share of big boys. Now that I got that first buck under my belt, this will be my year. Good luck guys!

Same to you, BigDaddy. It looks to be a good season. I had a six point and an eight point less than a hundred yards from my back deck this morning. Two days ago five buck crossed the road at the end of our lane. Let's hope they stick around until Oct 18th!!

My neighbor finally cut his hay, so I have a much better view of the field next to the house. Not seeing as many doe as last year. We will see how the next month or so goes.

and Ill....Man Non-res tags are just stupid money for Ill. Think this will be my last year in Ill. My brother just
moved to southern Ohio so going to hunt there next year. pay 140 or 450??? 140 will be much less painful.

YES......I'm taking my 11 y/o son to camp today. Checking trail cams, fishing, shoot the 22, putting harnesses in treestands. I'll report later tomorrow if there is anything good.

That buck is amazing! Have you been seeing more like that one this year?

I will be hunting in SE MN this year I will be going to CO in Oct. for Elk and to Texas in Dec. for a monster whitetail. I try to get to SD but this year isn't looking good.

seen a typical that is about as big has him... maybe even bigger if you can beleive it i just need to get permission... the people who own the land are gone on vacation so i'm waiting on them to get back lol.... but opening day is around 48 hours and i will be hunting a stand were i seen a 180 class witha droptine the year before .... hopefully he is still around:Dwhen do all of your seasons for deer open up?
