My season opened today, however I won't be hunting until Fri eveneing at the earliest. I'll hit it hard this weekend. I rarely see bucks in range until late pre rut.Don't hold your breath on me putting one down before Halloween.

Mine did to. I thought I might get off work at 10:30 but that didnt work out. I might try to go saturday evening. Maybe tomorrow if I can get off around lunch. If not I'll deffinately be out sunday morning.

I will be out in the woods early in the morning, cooling down here and back to normal hours... will hit it hard Fri and Sat ... hopefully see some horn

I will be out all weekend again. Great Temps here in WI. Suppose to freeze again and get down to 28 or so. I will be out in the morning and night tom and Sunday too.

Well guys, opening day was a bust for me. I got skunked in the morning and only saw four does in the afternoon, i held off on shooting hoping a buck would show up but no such luck. I'll be out tommorrow morning. Good luck all.

Now thats funny. I got up in my stand this morning and heard something down below a little bit later. I didn't look down because it really wasn't light enough to see yet. I kept hearing something and when it finally got light enough I looked down and I saw a damn white stripe moving around. I tried to video it but it was still to dark for that. I kept hearing it down there and then I got to thinking........... I wonder if this skunk can climb this tree. Then I kept thinking it was trying to climb the tree. I sure was glad when it walked off. LMAO. So does anyone know if a skunk can climb a tree. This is the first one I have ever seen in the woods.



Oh yeah. I didnt see a single deer all morning. I usually see them too so I dont know what is up with that.
