Official Team Buck Luck Thread (33)

Yea, those deer are very nice. I was looking through all the bucks I had on trail cam last year and I know 3 that were 125" that were not killed. One is the 8 pt I have in velvet w/ the third main beam, so that makes at least 2 more out there that should be in the 140's this year, then we had 2 150" deer that I have not seen... the best part about my area is that ALL the does stay on our farm, so when the rut kicks in I always get a ton of bucks showing up. Starting on Holloween I'll be out there. I'm rolling to VA tonight, w/ hopes of killing something, its been a long time since I shot something down there, so I've set a min. of 110" vs. my current 125" min, basically a 16" wide 8pt. BUT I stand the serious chance of busting a 140 class deer, I'll shoot a turkey, bear, or deer, I just dont want to come home empty handed...
Wish me luck!

Good luck Ed you blind bat.....We need a score!!!
It's getting close guys, seen my first actuall buck fight this morning as I was leaving work, they were'nt sparring, they were throwing down. I have never seen that before, only witnessed sparring action. It was very cool, made me want to speed home and grab my gear, but I didn't cause I knew I would pay the price at work tonight. Mon and Tues I will be out with highs in the 40's and low's in the 20's....BUuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I LOVE IT

I smell a team 33 member taking one down this weekend.........Solo you are my choice this weekend to end our cold streak. As Mark Grace would say "Some times you need a slump buster." Double points if you know what he was talking about!

I'm hoping to help out too. I'm going to try to sneak out for a bit in the morning but our early youth/Senior doe hunt is this weekend and it is with rifles. Too many knuckleheads out there. Plus it is supposed to start raining tonight thru late day tomorrow.
I haven't been out since last Friday, too many kids activities at school and my son and I enjoyed a Penguins win last night at the Igloo. Monday the temp is supposed to drop like a rock so I hope to take some time Monday evening.
