Hey guys, checked my camera tonight, I have the big guy still and another 8pt that is very tempting he's only around 110" but a huge body, I'd have a lot of trouble passing on him. I have pics of him in daylight 3 days in a row... Unfortunately I wont be hunting him till next week... I should probably pass on him, because he has SUPERB genetics... a great looking 2.5 or 3.5 yr old... I'll post pics when I get them...
I also have about a 100" 6 pt.... But he gets a free pass, My area has a lot of good bucks, and they never show up until the rut, so I should start having a lot more on camera...

Guys... I about barfed for the first time skinning out an animal... Ok so we have some chickens and something has been comming at night and plucking a pretty good amout of feathers off of them. So last night I was out side about 9:45p.m. it was dark out and I heard the chickens getting uppset. I ran inside gabbed the spott light and my 22 and headed back outside. I shinned the light and there was a skunk trying to get them so I raised the 22 and saw the cross hairs on the front half of its body and shot! The skunk fell over and never moved again. Well I had just bought a tanning kit from vandykes taxidermy about 3 weeks ago so I thought it would be cool testing it out on a skunk. I just got around to skinning the skunk today and I started cutting and pretty soon I press down on the belly trying to make a cut not thinking about it spraying... It sprayed the table I was working on (luckly) I never did get sprayed but man I was gaging when I smelt that up so close.
