I got skunked this morn, I'm really getting frustrated guys! I cant close the deal, let alone see a decent buck! I think I might be over hunting the area... I'm not sure where to go tonight, the SE wind will be perfect to hunt right over my camera... I might just do it to see what happens... Otherwise i'll try to find a tree about 100 yrds from it, I just hate trying to find a tree w/o knowing which one to goto, I end up wondering around ruining the area..

OMG....They are calling for SNOW Flurries here Monday night and early morning with the temp around 27 degrees at daybreak.
Ed, I wouldn't worry about "overhunting" anyday those bucks are only going to have one thing one there mind, and will be roaming like crazy, go where you know there are bucks, it's only a matter of time.

Had one come in real late tonight couldn't tell what it was so I let it walk. Had frickin turkeys all over me tonight they were roosting in the trees right nex to mine wish I brought my camera tonight.

Hey guys, had the 8pt come in really late last night, he was following a smaller 6pt in if he had stayed behind the 6 pt i woulda had a shot, but he hung up in the thicket makeing scrapes, rubs etc... He came to about 10 yrds and we had a stare down for 10 min, it got to dark and I didnt have a shot... But I moved my head and he busted me, he trotted back a few steps, then walked off.... Not the BIG 8, the smaller one w/ the big body...
I'll be out of the woods for a few days, I dont want to over hunt it.
