WesternMdHardwoods Bow Issue Update.................

Ok so everyone remebers I was having a heck of a time trying ot get my bow shooting good.I was THRILLED to have a new "well known guys" bow shop opening up to get my bow re-tuned. I did just that and found I needed to have my string replaced [:@]becaus eof some busted strands.........

So I go and pick up my bow on friday evening and was thinking to myself.."alright gonna finally have a well-tuned bow"!!! WELL it turns out I was never so wrong. I pick it up and get a loop tied in and peep adjusted. The centershot(up@down) was WAYYY off and I noticed this and had to point out to the Tech. He adjusted and got me lined up. They did not have the means for paper tuning(new shop?) so I figured well I am sure [&:]they adjusted everything like I asked when I dropped it off so I will go home(1hr drive) and give it a try!!

I get home and didnt have but 10mins to shoot a couple arrows and was throwing them everywhere!!![:@]Soo..on comes Saturdayevening and a buddy and I get to work on my shooting. I am all over the place shooting left with field tips and right with B-heads! We are attempting walkback tuning and adjusting my rest. Well i dont know why they ever designed a POSh** golden Key Prong rest but virtually impossible to adjust adn I managed to mess the rest up and not able to adjust it anyhow!
So at this point I am desperate and tring to find a new arrow rest, hoping a buddy would have one and pull through for me but no one had a spare one for me. I now have to wait until this morning to buy a new one[:@]! I get to the local archery shop and pick up a new quiktune prong rest and get it put on about ten o'clock this morning! I eyeball it up and start my walkback tuning AGAIN!! I shoot at 10yds perfect,20yds perfect, 30yds perfect ,40yds I pull my bow back and get this pain feeling in my back like someone had just dropkicked me between the shoulder blades[:@][:@]I shoot and perfect!!!
So guess what I pulled something in my back and could not even think about shooting for the rest of the day!![:@]I am hurtin right now and have to be very careful trying to move without sending sharp pains down my back! So I will be giving it some days before even attempting to shoot, so we will see what happens????????

It's like I am not supposed to be in the woods this year??????????[&o]

Seth,
Hope that back feels better! Also hope the bow is straightened out,
sounds like you 've had enough problems to deal with; its time for everything to fall in place and shoot a monster soon!!

Seth - its probably because you were shooting so much, your muscles were fatigued and then its easy to pull them, rest it. Drink a ton of water and stretch it! it will help the healing process.

You'll be back shooting in no time.

ONE WEEK!

I don't want to hear about your back......imagine what it feels like to get double lunged ! I see some beginings of hard horns, you cant eat but you sure can look at 'em much like a married man at a strip club.
