Have not done much hunting sence the ML season opened, the weather has been Hot here, and when its not hot its 30 MPH winds, but its supposed to be cold on Sat, hoping to lay a big one down with the bow, starting to see more bucks out crusing, hopeingto get a dumb one within range. Oh and Illinois that sucks with your buck problems, stick it out it will pay off hunt the ditch or ground if you have to or find a tree if you can and put your stand 2-3 Ft off the ground with some brush around it and see if you cant connect!!
Good luck to all Going out.

I saw that same 150 inch buck tonight from a different stand, but he was about 200 yards off. He was once again trying to bump a doe across a field, but she was not liking the idea.

Got back from the farm Last night...Starting to see some buck movement..had a 10pt 135 bed down at 70yds in the morning he looked to be only a 2.5yr old....wow what a monster he is going to be. Passed on a 125 8pt in the even was pushing some does. Saw countless deer and turkeys. Few pics for ya to follow. Oh yeah will be heading to Pike county on Sunday. Come on cold front...

Its on a wooded hillside and has and old service road headed up the the CRP field at the top. This area is about 60acres at is a true honey hole...unreal.
