My dad was able to look fora few hours this morning and found some more blood. I picked up where he left off, and didn't find much more. No deer is the bottom line. I will be out all day tomorrow looking some more.

Well Today,Nov.3 is a wash! I get up to go out and it pouring down ran and 30 mph gusts, hop it gets better though so i can go out this afternoon.

taken two does so far passed on quite a few little bucks just haven't seen any decent bodied bucks.

Well if you caught it the bowhunting forum, then you already know that after 15+ hours of tracking there is still no more sign of the buck. Searched around a 800 yard radius of last blood, and no luck. I am taking the rest of today and Sunday off. I will be back in the stand on Monday. Good Luck to everyone.

Well back from Pike county hunted hard for 5 days straight, didnt see a shooter until the last day on which I saw three, a 145, a 150, and a 160, all made it to less than 25yds, the 150 was standing broadside at 15ydsright behind a pine tree...kill me...and just could not close the deal....dont they know the have to stand in the shooting lanes? One of the best and most frustrating days in the woods ever..Hi winds today and tues....be headed to the farm on tuesday night...hope to finally get a big one down for us...gong to be 21 with hardly any wind wed mornin

Well FINALLY had some good luck. I dropped a doe tonight, but didn't see any bucks. Be out again later this week.

Good i always think its best to start off the season with a doe, it tends to even the playing ground, and put you in a rythem! Now lets lay some pigs down! Will be out from WED-TUES of next week.

I'm all set to hunt tomorrow. Will be at all day, overlooking a cut corn field with a buck decoy. Plan to climb down by 11 if I haven't seen a solid buck yet, and head over to another stand over another field with the decoy.

The first stand, is where I saw all the bucks the last time on it. The second is one that has never been hunted before, but there is an AWESOME trail coming out of a thicket and running about 20 yards into the woods. Looks perfect for an old buck to come out of the bedding area and walk down to see the field. Hopefully he answers to the buck decoy and gives me a shot.
