I've been seeing 3 big bucks daily where i hunt now... one is a 12 pointer thats boon and crocket or bigger, the 2nd is a 140-150 inch 10 point and the 3rd one is a 125 or so inch 8 pointer... Then theres some smaller bucks but im gonna let them go. Good luck to bowhunter818 since you start this saturday i believe.. hope you get to let the arrow fly...

Did some scouting the other night and saw lots of does and fawns and a handful of young bucks. Not out of the ordinary since it was around 90 that day. Did find a nice set of rubs from last year and I'm hoping that buck is still around. If so, he should start in on those trees again soon. If not, thinking about sitting in there one of the first days just to see if another big boy has taken over the territory-at any rate, plenty of well used trails with tracks in the vicinity.

Oct. 1st for me, but I try to lay off the bucks on the farm during October, while all the neighbors are out chasing them. That way come November my stands are all fresh and ready to roll.
Don't think I will hesitate to drop an Illinois bruiser if he stumbles his way into a food plot while im trying to nail a doe though

I start in three weeks also. I saw 4 Big bucks on my farm yesterday. One of them was "Big Daddy D". I let one of my best friends from Ky hunt my farms with me every year. He was with me yesterday when we saw the bucks. Theres already a compitition going on between who's in the right place for big daddy.
