Clothes are in the dryer now and I'll be headed out as soon as they are done. Not sure what to expect with the wind the way it is, but I have to give it a try today and tomorrow. I'll be out of action all next week...out of town on travel. Could not be a worse week to be gone, but that's government work for you.
I've seen a few nice bucks, but nothing close enough to shoot.
Really sorry to hear about your situation with the poacher, but not much can be done about it in our neck of the woods. Get back out there and see what else is left.

Navy, hows the hunting going? Have not heard much from you.

Finally put one down this morning. I got tired of watching does pass. I sat this stand 9 hours yesterday and 4 hours this morning. Had 48 different deer move through. 10 different bucks. The largest was 130-135 13pt. He came through at 5:10 last night. He was at 12 yards broadside, but I let him grow. We have a 130 minimum on the lease and I know he would be over it, but not by a whole lot. Anyways, I took this doe at 8:30 this morning at 27 yards. 127 lbs dressed.

Okay team...finally, got a shot off tonight and connected. I just got done scoring tonights deer, what I consider to be the buck of a lifetime. Not sure how to do the pictures, but I'll try to put one on here and then do another post with a link to more pictures.
Final score was 160 2/8
Nice, big typical 10 point with good mass.
I'm not a good ager, but some of the guys that saw him tonight guessed 7/12 years old based on his teeth...or lack there of.
Having problems getting the pictures to copy and paste. Another post to follow...I won't quit until I get at least one picture on here for us.

Thanks Dave, now I need to get him up on the score board for our team.

How is your hunting going? I'll be leaving at about noon today (after a visit to the taxidermist) and be gone all week. We should get together sometime next week if you have a chance.

Awsome buck, he is a true trophy. I think i would fall out of the tree if i saw him coming down the trail to me. Great work.
Titleist, great work on the doe.
It looks like we are starting to make out move to the top. 2 bucks down for the team. I hunted every day last week and saw a decent amount of deer, but not what i was hoping for. It was extremely windy so deer movement was limited, but saw deer every day. Will be out again this afternoon, hopefully today is the day.
