Not been able to hunt during the week. Last weekend it was too warm but went out anyway. Didn't see much movement at all. Put another stand up along my pasture fence where the deer have been crossing and hunted it once on Sunday with no sightings. Monday a front moved thru and while I was cleaning the horse pens after work I saw 4 big does right under that stand eating acorns.[:@] If I only would have gotten home a little earlier. Oh well. Duck season opens this weekend and I will be hunting them Sat. & Sun. but I took Mon. off to deer hunt. They should start chasing real soon up here

I went on Tue and Wed. Tue it rained pretty much the whole day. I saw a 4 point and three does. Wed I went and saw six does and a 6 point. I haven't saw any shooters yet. I am going to get back out there Fri and Sat morning, so I will keep you guys up on the action that I see.

Went out this evening. Saw two does. The I saw three bucks. Then I saw the three bucks again. Then I saw six more does. That means eleven deer. The only one in range was that same little basket six I saw the other day.

Guys I shot a 25 out of 25 tonight at the Trap Shoot...well tradition is you shoot 25 out of 25 and they shoot your hat....shoot a 50 out of 50 and its your underwear!!

I'm tell'in ya'll. This next week is going to be crazy in the north and midwest. The bucks are going to be chasing. Hopefully I get to pick up my new Benelli Super Black Eagle 2 tonight so I can use it for opening day ducks tomorrow. Be back Sunday to check on ya'll. Let some air out of em.

Well no Benelli for opening day[
