Man you are in hunting land heaven out there. Try and buy 8 acres of land around here. Youre looking at $300k to $1 mil easily if its a buildable lot which that one is.

Most decent land..runs about $3600 an acre..for rural hunting type stuff.

Of course housing developements or industrial is much much higher.

Come on guys we need to keep everyone checkin in. We don't wanna come up a guy or 2 short come hunting season.

Just got back from the doc.not good!
In layman's terms if you hold your hands out palm down you can rotate them in toward each other and to the outside away from each other. my left has no tendons left on the out side .I can not move my wrist.

MRI 9/12 then pre surgery 10/8 set appointment to reattach them.

It will be after bow season.Don't worry I can still shoot one arrow.

WOW thats some expensive land.....if you get some rural real good hunting land around here, your looking at 1000 to 2000 an acre. typically the more you buy, the less per acre. The last tract me and dad looked at went for right at 1200 per acre and we thought it was too steep for hunting land.

thats an eye opener. i know if and when i get the money, i WILL have me a place of my own to hunt, i hate losing permission, or sharing rights and all that crap. but since i only have 12000 saved up right now, its not goin to take me far as far as land goes. lol looks like ill have to triple the amount of yards i get next summer.

I know how you feel, I was stationed at Ft Riley Kansas for 4 years, One year right befor deer season I tore my inner thighamong other things playing rackquet ball, which put me out for the season. Doc told me that this was the injury that retired Pro Football Players and indeed did give me an early retirement from the service.The year befor that I had to have my wrist operated on the second week of bow season, causing me to miss another season. The 2 years I did get to hunt I scored on record book size Bucks. I hope things work out for you.

T sounds like your a pretty smart young fella, wish I had invested in more land when I was young.

Well my scouting trip was pretty good yeserday afternoon. I took alot of pics I'll uplaod tonight when I get back from dove hunting. We dont dove hunt the main 2000 acre farm we deer hunt so we dont put the deer in nocturnal mode. Not sure if they react to lots of shooting or not but just in case. Saw about 40 deer last night, saw some bigger bucks but they came out a few minutes before dark and Im sure they pics are going to be too dark to see anything from 300 yards.
