Mornin team Just stopping in to say hi and good luck to all who gets a start before me. I'm prolly the last to enter into a season with an Oct. 13 opener. I may be stepping out for a couple weeks at any time now so if you don't see me around little Maddox was born and I'm busy. I should getcable hooked up now huh? Maybe I'll call today.

Gr8 I was cutting wood last week and being a fool I was using my big saw A Stilh 039 without a compression release , its an older saw.
I was about done when I picked up the hot saw to finish a cut that had not gone thru a log. I grabbed the cord and gave a quick jerk...bad move,the saw fired when I had gotten only about 10 inches into the pull as a result the saw pulled the cord and handle back thru my hand basically pulling the last three fingers about off and in the process separated my wrist from my arm. not something I would recommend anyone trying at home.

I will be hunting when possible ,I might even be hunting every day, I have AFLC disability insurance .
But if you guys want me to back out and get a replacement for the team from Rob its OK with me.Our season hasn't started so I don't think he would care.
Let me know what you think.

And how many guys are we still missing?

On a lighter side do any of you need a safety harness. If so let me know I have several that have never been used. I buy lots of stands.

I will give one to any of you that needs one.Or even if you got a friend or neighbor in need get me the word and its yours.

Ouch sorry to hear that Jim.. There is NO WAY we would want a replacement! If you can draw your bow, we want you! It's a team Brother..It's a team! You guys choose me as a Captian when you didn't even know 100% if I'd be able to function to 1/2 my ability! (but I will be at 100% ok 98%....[:-])

As for the harness's a generous offer. I to, have a few extra's that came with various stands..although I'd hate to offer them cuz they are so frigging complicated. I went with the Hunter Safety System Vest.

Gotta love the old Aflac..I know it always seemed like a rip-off until I got hurt! But alas I didn't have it! []
