I saw 2 spikes and a few does in two separate hunts on my East texas lease.
I connected with a spine shot on this lady (she ducked extra low). A second arrow finished her off.

Heading to the Hill country lease tonight for a few days.
Now that the freezer has a dent in it I'll be looking for pigs or horns.

Good luck to everyone else this weekend!

Well I had 2 bucks and 2 does inshooting rangeon the new hill country lease.

One buck was 2.5-3.5 yo at ~115" he was outside the ears 8 pnt with nice tines that went from dark to light on the tips.

The other was 2.5 at ~100" also an 8 with about a 4 to 5" brows with one that leaned towards the other.

It was great to be close to deer without them freaking out like my East Texas deer do.

Good luck this week fellas!

If my truck gets out of the shop I should be in the woods next Sunday for up to 12 days straight. (truck cost me a good hunt in ET post front yesterday morning[>:])
