Found out that I'm going pig hunting in February at Nugent's ranch in Michigan as a birthday present!

Couldn't be more excited for this.

I'll be bringing my bow but will change from Rage's to Montecs just for a little more confidence. I've read that expandables aren't good for pigs.

Im gonna bring my slug gun just in case it comes down to the wire and I still don't have a pig.

Bring on the bacon.

Happy birthday to me. [8D]

I couldn't really tell ya if the Nuge is gonna be there. My guess is not but it sure would be cool if he was.

Oh and my birthday isn't until February but hey, thanks for the early congrats!

Thanks Palmer and right back to ya!
Our season ends Jan 31st here in MD, but its been in the high 50's lately so I really have not been up to going out.
I do go all day on the 31st, just as a final farewell but have never shot anything on the last day.
Hope everyone else has a great spring and summer as well!

Hey guys.

Well I shot a nice yote today, actually my first yote.

My uncle lives not far from here and see's a yote all the time cross into this field. So today we got in there real early and sat in a line fence.

My uncle facing west, I facing east. At 6:28 I see movement out about 60 yards and see two figures moving across the field. Iverifiedthey were yotes and started lip squeaking.

It was like someone put a string on them and pulled them my way.

Came to 5 yards (no joke) and I let one have it. He ran about 30 yards and fell over dead.

Never was able to get on the second one. They sure run fast.

12 gauge Full Choke 00BK really puts em' down. [8D]

Very happy with him. He weighed 35lbs.

He'll make a nice rug.

(Rifle was for back up, shotgun on my back. Just so ya know.)

No I acually traded in a bunch of guns for Rem 11-87soI could geta slug barrel too. Peer pressure made me do it. [8D]

Uncle and I are going to hit the yotes hard these couple next months.

There around, just a matter of waiting them out. Never knew how much fun it is to hunt such an awesome predetor.
