well I got to hunt my new property today and it looks as if it is going to be well worth the wait. I seen two shooter bucks and alot of does. I couldn't get the bucks to come in but only time will fix that. Hope everyone else is hitting the woods hard and having a good time

Christmas came at little early at our house this morning.
Valerie Alyssa Collier was born at 6:31am this morning, weighing 6 lbs 9oz and is 18 inches long. She wasn't due until Dec 28th, but both momma and baby are doing great!!

WOW, stay away for a day or two and the house falls apart.
Just read the post about the illegally entered deer from another team.
My question is where is the arrow that took this deer?
Oh well the thread is locked so it won't be answered.

Don't worry about it. Things get heated from time to time, the captains are voting on it so we should have this resolved soon.
Anyone been hunting lately? I haven't had time, but I am taking my son back out next weekend for the IL shotgun season. After that I'll try to get back in the saddle of bowhunting.

LOL, I'm not worried, I've been on here long enough and was a captain last year, we had an issue or 2 come up as well.
I did get out Saturday for MD's gun season, took the bow out in the morning but did not see anything, decidedto take the gun out in the afternoon and shot a doe and what turned out to be a buttonbuck.
With meat in the freezer I can concentrate onbow huntingfor a mature buck, bow season doesn't end till January 31st.
