Team 6 is on the board. Way to go Mike. He's beautiful and you put a great shot on him. Congrats and way to start us out. As the others have said, you da man.
I got out this morning to check out one of my new spots and try to fill a doe tag. I was covered up in deer from 7 a.m.until 8:15. I saw anywhere from 13 to 17 deer (some may have been the same deer coming back through). I past up a couple of little ones because they still had spots. Something about the spots bugs me. I was going to put the smack down on mama, but she came in straight on and got directly under me and I don't like the straight down shot. She eventually sniffed my treestand strap at the bottom of the tree (lesson learned) and buggered out of there.
I saw 2 bucks. A 1.5 year old 5 point and a 7 point that is either a small 2.5 or a nice 1.5. From his body size I'd say he is a 1.5 and should be a good one in a few years. Not bad for the first sit in that spot. Now I've got to get my NJ doe so I can try to Hunsucker a buck.

I'm jealous! We can only hunt does for two more weeks!
Got out this morning but nothing came my way. Did see a very large and promising rub on the fringe of the home range of the buck I'm hunting though.
