your not the only one!!I"m babysitting tonight, and there's a football game tomorrow so i'm going out saturday morning for another shot hopefully

Well I'll give my report. I went out last night and saw a small 1.5 year old 6 point. Big brother or daddy never showed.

I'll be heading out to the same stand tomorrow unless the wind shifts. Then on Saturday I'll be heading in for a long sit in a stand that the area has been torn up with rubs since early September. It's only a matter of time now.

Well, It turns out that they came home early and i was able to get in the stand by 5:30. I sat and sat, and sat. and then, I sat some more. then about 7:15 i heard some footsteps coming my way and i got ready. it turned out to be a basket rack 1.5 yr old 8 and two little does. Nothing that fit the grocery list tonight. I've seen more deer in the last three days than i have all season long, and i've only hunted the riverbottom stand lately. Like I said above there's a football game tomorrow so i wont be out. I'm thinking about getting another hang on and putting it up in the opposite corner of the feild. No big boy tonight, it seems like he's a morning person.

By the way, The kids I babysit's grandpa owns the property beside my stand and they showed me a set of sheds they found this year. at the bases, couldnt touch, H2, no touchie, H3 barely touchedI'd say those horns were a solid 5 pounds! heaviest set of sheds i've ever seen. I'll get a picture next week when i go back to babysit again.

I'm looking forward to getting out tomorrow. Spent the week at the camp but didnt get much hunting in. Had some things that had to be done at camp before the winter and took advantage of some volunteer help from an uncle and got them done while the weather sucked for hunting anyway.

Now it's time to go kill sumpin!

Well Men.. Ist finally here...NY opener..SAT.. and I have to work[:@].. no worriers.. I have Sun,Mon,Tues..Cant wait ..just being out in the woods this time of year is great..

Whack and stack!

Evening report for 10/12. Got to my stand and settled in after work. Sat till dark and saw a whole lotta nothin. Packed up and went to the car and geared down. Spotted the top field before I left and it was empty. As I was driving up the driveway of the property to pull out there was a 130" buck staring at me in the middle of the driveway.[:@]

Now I got to get that guy under my stand. It's good to know he is out there.

Put a doe in the feezer this morning. At least the ice is broken!
