Guys I have been challenged by a friend to go traditional only until I get my first trad kill. I have accepted the challenge. I hope to make that happen tonight. I'm going out after work. Afterall, the lease is on my way home! We are getting some rain right now and I'm hoping we will have cloud cover all day to keep the temps out of the STINKIN 90s! If things clear up and temps or humidity get to high I won't go. I don't want to screw anyplace up by going in and sweating my butt off.

Was out last night and had a good sit. Saw 2 does and 11 bucks out in a bean field. One of them was a 9 point about 145 or so. Nothing in range, but still fun to see. Tomorow I'll get back at it at a new spot where the landowner has seen some real dandies, gonna be HOT though. Good luck with trad gear TX!

Well guys headed out this afternoon seen 10 does yesterday afternoon and no bucks maybe today will be more productive there is a front moving into the area so the deer should be moving pretty heavy

I get to FINALLY go out tommorow evening... SO STOKED!

Sucked to be me! Iwas so sweaty 100 yds out from the truck I just turned around and went home. I may try again tomorrow night but I won't go near any of my stands if it is this hot. I'll set up on the ground somewhere and hope to catch something moving.
