We took Lily's pacifier away when she was 3 or 4 months. Well, my wife did. I couldn't believe it. It was easy! And no thumb sucking ever. My wife read to do that in some "better mommy" book. I'm glad it worked. She is our only kid so its a learn as you go thing with no previous experience. All OJT. Man I love it!

Thanks for the worries guys. Man I sure wanted to go this mornin it was 55 degrees out and would have been a awesome morning but all well. Bow season does not close tell the last weekend in October here so I will still get some huntin in. I can use my buddies crossbow as it is legal in TN. So maybe I can get out some next week. If I feel like it and can talk the wife in to lettin me go cause I am not suppose to drive for 3 weeks but we will see and like I said before thanks for the worries. Glad we have a bunch of good guys on here. We are going to still try to leave out for vacation tommorrow to Branson Mo. Can't wait to get up around springfield and go to the Bass Pro Shop and The Whitetail Hall of Fame and see the original James Jordan Buck and the Hole in the Horn buck all originals no reproductions going to be one awesome place.

At 3 to 4 months our kids hadn't even started using either one. I think Emma started with the pacifier about then and Caleb just started sucking his thumb at 6 months! Anyway back to bowhunting.

Hey guys! Been a few days since I last posted. Tn good to here your doing ok, good thing your wife talked you into going in before that thing perferated. Well I got the new Vectrix in last week and she's already to go, that is a sweet shooting bow. I'm just getting over about a weeks worth of batteling vertigo - man does that suck, I'll just be doing my thing then all of the sudden it would feel like everything is spinning. I went in and had all the blood work and head ct done and they couldn't find anything, so they put me on some meds and it seems to be subsiding. Kind of sucks I have been out of work the last couple days and I couldn't even go out hunting
but i'm gonna go and try it in the morning - just have to make sure i'm strapped in real good. I'll have to start taking some notes on all this about baby stuff, only 7 1/2 more months!
Good luck to everyone!

I'm happy you got your bow finally and that you like it! Vertigo definitely blows, my mom had it after her radiation and it really threw her for a loop. Nothing really to do for it either, just kind of has to pass. Make sure you are buckled in! This is going to be a long weekend waiting for Monday! Supposed to be a beautiful day, not really for hunting per say, but gorgeous day to be outside.
