Afternoon guys, nothing earth shattering here but it'll get up TTT. I let a doe walk this morning,initialey as she was making her way in I said"she's pretty small, gonna let her walk" butas she got closer I was thinking"she also looks to be an old girl by her markings and maybe not so small" (take into consideration I'm in Ga.). Didn't matter though, she got to where I wanted her to be for a shot(I could'a busted her prior but was still deciding) and in a blink did a 180 and hauled out,that was at about 8yds..She didn't seem concerned, didn't look up or anything, just must have sensed something wasn't right.Ran about 60 yrds. (guessing) andshe stopped and blow 3 times. I really don't think she knew what she was blowing at. Oh well, I'd rather see um and get blown at than sit all morning and see nothing. Well guys just got in from huntin almost all day pretty decent day morning hunt in at 5:30 out at 11:00 seen 12 does and fawns and 2 small bucks no shooters afternoon hunt in at 3:00 out at 7:45 seen 8 does and 2 small bucks and still no shooters but overall a good day, Will be back at it in the morning.

Well I worked around the house all weekend. Thats the last time that scenario will play out for a while. Saturday is the opener and the honey-do list isn't complete but I've knocked a big chunck of it out. No more work around the place until January! Yeah, and if you believe that.......

LOL, of course you know better than that. Thinking there is an end to the H-Do list is like thinking that making minimun payments on a high interest rate credit card will pay it off.

For the last 2 weekends it's been hunt Sat. and spend Sun. finishing up on re-doing a bathroom before the MIL gets here this weekend. Once she arrives it will be hunt Sat. and Sun. until she leaves .

Worked around my house too this weekend! Last one for me too as my wife also hunts. Can't wait, next Monday!!! Hopefully we can get some points on the board with all of our seasons coming in. Good luck guys!

One more full work weekend for me and then hunting.

I dont get to bow hunt until friday evenign after next[:'(](dumb school). oct 5th I think. I got 7 ducks this weekend so Im pretty happy about that. Next weekend I'll be after some geese. That should quench my thrist for hunting til bow season..maybe

I need goose feathers if you get some! I'll pay for them. I need right wing feathers to fletch my trad arrows. They stand up to the rain better than turkey feathers.
