He is by the new 80 that I found to hunt. So I have to get looking at topos and aerials to see where I want to set up. I haven't decided if I want to go in and scout before season starts or wait until during season and set up on the sign that I find. Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful.

Nice looking spot. So do you have any pics of the 160" 8 pointer? I remember reading your posts from last years hunts and you had some pretty good encounters out of that stand set. Good luck and heal quickly!

Those are great looking bucks. I went out on the 4 wheeler w/ my brother in law last night. So many apples this year you can smell them driving by the old orchard. Saw a little buck (4 or 6) and a doe in the field.
Bear season opens today here in MA. I will hopefully get out for a few hours 2night w/ the Mathews.

I have some quality vidoe of that 160" 8 point but no photos. I called him to 60 yards on video but like mature bucks did, he stood for a long while, looked around and lazily walked up the hill from us....

I know a 8 point almost as big as him was taken but he wasn't...the shooter said this buck I saw ran away after the shot and the guy thought he missed the buck until he saw his laying there....can you imagine what one more year would do...I hope I see him again.

Everyone is stuck. The site is down and I'm not sure anyone knows. I would think they all left the office.[&:]

The only way in right now is to click someones name on the main forums page or click a thread that's in a forum but we can't open the forums themselves....[&:]

Yeah Rob, and it really sucks. LOL Man I have not had my daily fix from the forums and I don't like it. So I guess someone can give me a quarter to call someone who cares.

LOL

Back up and running now...

Went out for the bear opener last night here in MA side by side w/ my buddy Jery in the stand. Had one come in. Camera died... Jery took his first bear ... with the bow to boot. Haven't had her weighed yet, but a nice mature sow. He is going to do a rug with her and we will make all sausage.
Fun to be by his side and watch him take his first one... I am happier than if I had taken it.
