Maybe that's why you're ina slump, you don't know upwind from downwind, If you're down wind that's good. Please review wind direction and maybe... MAYBE this year you'll score!

wake up guys!!!! i cant believe we let this move to the second page!!

the weather here has changed pretty drastically. yesterday a about 2 it was hot and sticky. i was sweating nasty...both classes were over at 445 and walked out and was COLD. i was in a tshirt and shorts. kinda thought about having jeans on. last night i turned the fan on low and slept with a BLANKET. first time in dorm history lol. it gets pretty hot and stuffy in these rooms. probably because im not here alot and the door is shut..but today it still feels a bit chilly. not COLD..but you know..not 80degrees and 300% humidity...could fall be on its way?? oh ya......that hurricane needs to change paths. we needed the rain..but we got it. now itll probably be here by sat or sunday! talk about ruining labor day!!

You're right Mauser we can't let these colors touch the second page! [&:] My season doesn't start till Oct 15th. The last one to enter the running andI'm prolly the only one on this site wishingwewere still inJuly!Only because Icould seriously us moretime to get moved and settled in to the new house. I fear it's going to be a rat race. I'm trying to get things organized and plan for a smooth transition. Like right nowI have to go move some $^@!from her families house to here. Moving is no fun! I wish I was hanging stands!

Mauser, we've gotta get your priorities straightened out here. It's freshman year, and you're on a campus crawling with freshmeat (freshman girls) and you're worried about DEER? It's time to re-evaluate things...

Doe season's already in for you, bro. It opened this week, and it doesn't close for four years. Most of us guys are married or taken, so we're forced to live vicariously throughyou. LOL Just kidding man... (OK not really kidding)

Anyway, howhave classes been treating ya? ...and have you met any wild college women yet? You seem like you're pretty good at networking, make sure you get your facebook account up and running soon - and don't be shy. Within a few months, you'll know everyone on campus.

How's that shoulder?

Mantis,I hear you about the moving. The wife and I are in the process of selling our house and getting into the country. We looked at a house in the sticks yesterday with 50 acres, nice house but the land was mostly swamp,to good to be true I guess.I am hoping its not going to be one of those falls where my house sells and the wife will have to do all the work, making sure it dosnt cut into my hunting time

On my one property I have permission for,all 4 stands are done and good to go on opener.I am heading out on saturday morn to check out another land which my buddy and I have permission also.
On Sept 16 we are heading to the Bass Pro Shop to do some shopping(dont tell wife)

Ok stay focus on whitetails, if you have the urge let us know. We can hire someone for you to come over after legal hunting hours are over.

Or you can just go rent a "Video"!!!

Do not get all caught up in chasing girls, next thing you know you're married and you just sold your bow for new carpet!!!

Dear Quick:

If you'll check back through the Bro's B4 Does thread....you'll see that there's a number of us that really don't mind married life, either. if our teammate will just stick to his CURRENT priorities.....we've assured him it'll all work out well in the end, for him.

You're welcome to post alternative methods....and where it got YOU.....but I think you'll have a hard time changing his mind.

Carry on - oh Capt. Mauser........

Quick brought up a good point mauser. You'll never have a chance at hot college coeds like you have right now. Make the best of it, hunting will be around for the rest of your life. And remember if you do get out to hunt, 2nd week, you'll be fine.

Listen, Mauser:

Rob and I hunted every day when we were in college......and look where it got us. Anybody else giving you different advice ought to post where it got them.

Jeff
