Well havent talked been on here in a while just wanted to give you guys an update. Got my stand up finally so I am all good to go, but when I was walking back to the woods I spooked up three does. Can't wait thought till first day which is coming sooner than later.

Sorry to hear about your miss Leverdude. Oh well... It happens... Better a clean miss than a wound. You'll get it.
Went for a quad ride yesterday to do some close to home scouting. Saw a couple of small bucks (spike & fork) and then 1 decent buck for our area... Couldn't see the horns too well in the pines, but it liked like a big 6 or decent little 8 pointer. Checked on one of my stands too. Tracks everywhere! It looks like a freeway going through. Hopefully I can connect opening night there.

Lever.....the good news is you can still hunt!! I was in a tree for 3 days this week end and just got home. Saw a really nice buck..140/150...but he came in behind me in the woods. I was set up in the back of a bean field. He never knew I was there. I hit the grunt call and nothing.....it's still a little too warm but we are supposed to have some cool weather move in this week. Maybe some frost. So I will be back up there this weekend. Maybe some of the bigger boys will be moving around. Plus I need a couple of does for the freezer.

Well I head out for the first time to CT in the morning. I am
hoping to get there early enough to morning hunt. If not I'll
get out in the afternoon. It seems like forever since the last
time I was in a tree. I'll be back Thursday night.

Here is a logo came up with this night just wanted to see what you guys thought. This I made during a class at school had nothing better to do I guess. But it suprised my teacher having only 145x145 pixels and a 10kb limit.

Good Looking logo, but I think everyone already went with the other. If everyone would rather this new logo, let me know... otherwise we will stay put w/ the original.

Western........I am having a heck of a time getting our logo on my avatar. I have an Apple IBookG4 lap top......don't know if that makes any difference or maybe it's just the user:D If any of you fellas can help, I would appreciate it.
