I was able to put a tape to him tonight, 152 6/8. I am not able to post a pic yet. I will get it on here by the end of the weekend though I hope. We had a computer issue a few months back, and I forgot to load the software back into it for my camera. I did have it loaded at my bro-in-law's though. If I find the disc here before this weekend I will get it posted. Otherwise I will have to wait until the weekend. Thanks for all the congratulations, and good luck everyone!

that is awsome woodline. way to go. now all we need is the rest to tag one. my work sucks because i can only get out on the weekends unless its raining then its usually no good anyways but i will get one soon enough. count on it. has any of you herd from that our long lost teamate (orr something) i think his name is. he hasnt posted in quite a while.

Thanks again for all the congratulations. I can't find my software here, but am going to keep looking this morning. I just looked at the score card, and it looks like he will put us in first place where we belong. I am going to be just like Rob, and pick up the camera for my buddy. My brother-in-law is on team 13, so I'll make sure he doesn't shoot anything too big. Hopefully we can get some good footage though. I go on vacation this Saturday, and will be taking my kids out looking for a doe this coming week. I will be video taping on the weekends when he has off.

Well I getto bowhunt today and tomorrow evening so I'm pretty stoked about that.Then blackpowder opens on Saturday and I'm off Nov.6th thru Nov 11th. Then I'm off Nov 14th & 15th and Thanksgiving week
Nov. 22nd thru Nov.25th. Then my work is shutdown for the holidays from Dec.22 thru Jan. 2 and Ialso took the last three days of gun season
Jan. 4, 5, & 6 off. So it is looking pretty good for time off. I'm sure I will also be spendinga good amount of time at home with the kids but I should be able to sneak out and getseveral good hunts. I still will get to bowhunt through January because some of the bases I hunt have bowhunting only sections and inthe cities of Chesapeake and Va Beach bow season opens the dayafter gun season closes, which is Nov. 30.
Ihate to say this because I know it is hard for some people to find land but sometimes having a lot of places to hunt is hard too. It makes me very indecisive. I am always wondering what's going on at the other pieces.I've come to the conclusion that if I didn't have to work I could cover this ground much better. AnywayI'm just boredand babbling so I'll wrap this up. Anotherbig Congats thereWoodline, I think you may have put us in the lead!!

Well team if you all noticed Rob has called upon the captains to vote and make a decision on a couple of entrys .
This is why it's important to follow rule seven to the letter , I already PM Rob with my vote and comments about the two.
I know if and when the time comes when I get my MEGA BUCK that I'll have my bow and the full buck with me smiling proudly wearing my team T - shirt when I submit my entry in the contest score card.
Good luck tothose who stillhave to get one and cograts tothose who already have , I have a good felling about this team we are now in the lead .
If the rest of us submit an entry we will be the 2006 HNI Bowhunting Champions , let's go team MEGA BUCKS and win this thing.

Hey fellas I finally arrived at the lodge for 9 intense days of whitetail hunting and lookig forward to it. Rob and I have a hard thought out game plan and that would be shoot a buck, pretty good I thought. I will keep you guys posted on our days afield.

Well what do I say, the picture speaks a thousand words. Here is the story, Rob and I decide to go to another little honey hole instead of going to the food plot, one because of the nice cool temps we got into what we call the hallow which has been very good to us in the past, well good for Rob. My past experience in this spot I have missed two other bucks over the last four years. Well Rob decides ( knowing the area better than I ) on two trees, well the one he tells me to get into was dead and swayed like crazy. ( I think it was on purpose) Well this 80 inch or so 8 point comes in like he was being pulled on a string with zero calling and I, I, I missed fellas and at ( I hate to even say this 20 yards )Well needless to say Rob captured it on video and we could'nt stop laughing.I am so shocked, every time one of us would look over at that spot we would giggle like little kids. Sorry guys Q2 choked but there is alot of time left and I will redeem myself.

I hope Rob isn't a jinx....he'll be in NC in 2 weeks. Hopefully I'll be bucked out by then.....and I can do some work behind the camera, myself, while he's here.

Scouting report, Rob: I likely bumped 10-15 deer getting TO my stand this morning. I'm gonna go somewhere else in the morning......then into my honey hole around mid-morning. We'll see how that works.....because that's likely what we'll do the Saturday you're here. The Friday ........I've got a surprise.

Woodline I saw the pics of you deer it is without question a beautiful whitetail but I'm aliitle concerned, I really hope you have a pic with you and your bow, either way it's a monster and a huge congrats.

This area we hunted this morning has been a real jinx for me I have to get over this hump I just cant believe I missed.We had alot of fun this am and plan on some more excitement to come so stay tuned for our good time because that it is truly why we are out there for..

Thanks Q2, and yes I do have a picture with the bow and it is outside, instead of the back of my brother in laws truck. I just wanted you guys to be able to see it before I posted it this weekend. I have to get the software and everything loaded first though. I even took some extra bow and deer shots with a buddies camera in case the software wouldn't load correctly. Rob, if you could post it on the team thread I would appreciate it. I will then post the pic with my bow and everything else this weekend on the score card thread. Thank you and good luck. I fiqured with that nice of a buck you probably have 100 plus pics, hell I would.I just knew there is a discusion going on with two other entries and I would have hated to see yours being as sweet as it is thrown out but then again why should I have doubted you, your my team mate sorry lol.

The shirt looks good too.

Rob and I saw a nice 5 point who we have seen a couple of times this year and if he comes in I would take him he's 2 1/2. It is only going to get better.

Congrats to you guys and great pics. Me and my partner MDS just got back from opening day of blackpowder. We had fun but failed to put anything on the tailgate.
MDS missed a small basket 5 or 6 this morning at about 45 yards and we saw a few more deer this evening but no real good shot oppurtunities. The deer were moving late this evening probably due to the moon so we'll be back next week to try again.
MDS did mansge to break the ice Friday evening with a nice button buck with his rifle in another county we hunt. I need to go check the scorecard I am so stoked about our team right now. You guys rule!! Hopefully we can keep it going!! Good luck and be safe. Over and out!!

Thanks guys for the congrats it means alot,yes Rob and I had a blast Rd. With the miss and the ba@# busting I'm still taking and rewinding the video of it ,then going to the great video footage of the the 6 point just makes us both laugh and giggle. I called my son and told him ,and he was so excited for me then he goes " Dad did you shoot a Turkey yet " I was like bud hows the pressure your putting on the old man? Then he laughed and told me he loved me and that made my day complete..

Way to go Q2! Great job getting us closer to the prize. It sounds like you and Rob had a ball. Nothing like sharing a hunt with a buddy. I did get my buck posted today, thanks to SW Iowa Hunter. I really appreciated his help dragging the deer, and posting the picture. Thanks to everyone who helped me get pictures posted on the team thread as well.

well guys i just got back from hunting tonight and we will be able to put yet another one on the score board. he isnt huge by any means(basket 8 point) but it was one of the last days i was going to be able to bow hunt so i thought i had better take what i can get. i will post pics tomorrow and let you know what he scores along with the story but thought i would quick let you know there will be another score for the mega bucks
