Arrow I have lost HH76 in the woods. He was so thrilled with the hunting spots I showed him...Said he felt at one with the HNF....He grabbed his rip away camo pulled it free and off through the woods he went screaming "Who cooks for you, who cooks for you all"...I have never seen anything like before...I looked for him...5 mins...assumed he was gone and left. He had his Tom Teaser and cell phone only when he left...I mean only....You can make that check out to me since I got rid of him for you...$575 plus my tag I think is what we agreed on.

We had a great time today...saw lots of birds in the area...no gobbles, but strutters and I had 151 pictures on my camera...deer, squirles, opposium, racoon, horse...clouds and trees.....The deer were posing like models on a run way it was hilarious!!! NO TURKEY STILL.

I told Bill I hoped he would kill a bird in the areas I showed him....he shook his head at me and said that wouldn't be good would it? Nope I'd run it to the ground. He did threaten to stow-away in my truck to go back to the horse farm I have....I had him lost today...But Solsberry is a tiny place you really want to go to to get there. We had a good day and he seems like a great guy. He did keep his clothes on too. By the way we are going to beat up over my truck and your truck rump brother LOL

for whati understan there was a bounty on my head for the price of a free mo trip if thats the case i will off myself

eric takes me to some woods still not sure if we were in a state park or somewhere i can actually hunt
nevertheless no turkey sign every noise he heard he thought it was a turkey (aka squriels)

then whe takes me to a horse farm which all his trail cam pics are of horses by the way eric U CAN'T HUNT HORSES

then he tells the lady at the church when we leave to have my truck towed not very nice eric
and not to mention his callin i think i rather listen to my dauther play the volin which i can't stand to listen

oh yea we go to mcdonalds to eat lunch and i told him i would buy well he mad up for not going out to eat steak he ordered like one of everything on the menu

BUT ALL AND ALL IN WAS A GOOD DAY AND ENJOYED MEETIN U ERIC AND THANK U FOR TAKIN THE
TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY TO SHOW ME AROUND EVEN THOUGH U THOUT THOSE BUZZARDS WHERE TURKEYS

You mean that turkey don't eat dead deer...man I am so confused. You told me the cheese burgers were ground steak... Put you have to admit those deer at the farm were definitely posing for my camera...I think the horse has a camera fetish. Anyway man have a great day and be safe. I did enjoy meeting you....also if the CO's come by tell them that I gave you permission to be there I'll give you a letter that will be ok for your parks hunt :)

Taking both the bow and shotgun out this weekend. Calling for a 70% chance of rain and 25 to 35 mph winds. I hope they are going to be where I think they will be. With a forecast like that, all I have to do is ambush em when they are checking in to the Holiday Inn;)

hey guys. sorry i havent been on. we had 3 unlucky encounters opening morning.. first, burds werent gobbling for anything right off the bat. On our first encounter, the gobbler was comin but 2 hens came faster than him. TRHey got bored with us and ran over ot the tom and took him with them.. second time, same thing happened. but it was a differnt tom and hen. I had the hen about 4 feet from the tip of my barrel.. Ol tom was comin and comin and then she went to him and he shut up. third occasion, we saw one off the side of the road so we got out of the trucks and went into the woods and after about 5 min o walking in, we called and he gobbled immediately. We were excited. Just as he started getting close, the county road grater came driving by and he was going back and forth.. just on the section between the tom and us. We would've spent more time hunting him, but i had to get back to point for a Natural Resources Exam.. Good news though, my dad killed one this morning! a really big one and he spent the rest of the day locating and scouting so I am almost 100% positive ill have one tomorrow! I'm super excited because this will actually be my first Tom. :) I'm heading out in 15 min to get back to the land and hunt all day for the next 3 days!!! wooo hoooo!!!! :)

Arrow looks like it will be cooler Monday now showing 55 and sunny and 67 and sunny Tuesday. Rain on Sunday but dry for us....I like our chances!!!

I still have some packing do to...minor stuff. I got the camo ready yesterday and I'll get the calls and after hunting clothes tomorrow afternoon. Less than 3 days till we are in the woods....maybe even done and ready for home. I got to thinking...if we do all take one on Monday, depending on the time frame...maybe we could stay and have food and fish...we'll talk about it Sunday...we will have 6 hrs and I have tons of stories (some FD some others) lke this one guy from Portage I met....weird guy....talking crazy about being in the woods with tear away camo and being a rubba dub dub brother or something like that.....

Youth season starts tomorrow in Indiana, Im filmin and callin. I hope I can get some good video. I know I will be hard to live with in the next few days. I will eat, drink and sleep turkeys. lol Im ready for the season. Its an addiction and I got it bad... Dont ya just love this sport. Missouri here we come on Sunday...
