Congratulations! first deer are always the most special deer you' ll ever get.. i remember my first deer and deer hunt better than any hunt i' ve ever been on.. i just filled my fridge too!

I agree, first deer are the most memorable hunts, besides all the other ones. to me every hunt is memorable. i shot my first buck this last monday. then a month ago i shot two does and my pa shot a buck so we have quite a freezer full.

Congrats! I killed my first on the 26th, a big bodied 4 pointer. He dressed out at 140, and nothing in my 17 years was quite as exciting as this first kill (Except when I get to be on the nozzle on a fire, but that' s another story for another day
).
