It was my first hunting season, i was 12 at the time.I had hunted all gun season but no luck.I had got a new shotgun for christmas from my dad and the next day i shot this buck at 35 yards with that shotgun. He had 12 points, 18 inch spread. The cool thing was when we were registerin it some guy my dad knows drove up and said he missed that buck, we were like ya ok but he then spread the legs and showd where a six inch spot of hair was missing! he had shot low on that deer only a week earlyer. Anybody have a guess on the score of this deer??

guessin 140 or so

Impressive first deer. My first buck was a 5pt I killed behind my grandmother's house. I dragged the buck through the cornfield around 350yds nonstop so I could show everybody.

I'd guess 142 3/8"

Awesome buck! I'd say low 140's, but I'm no expert. Those extra tines add to the score nicely.

Kinda spoils you for your first buck. When we came home and we told my mom I shot a buck and saved the rack. She asked "Well where is the rack?" Then my dads wise ass says "It's out in the ash tray" That gives you an idea of how big my first deer was
