Default Hunters Education Course

I am a PA resident but I am attending school in Virginia. I am interested in taking a hunters safety course and I have a question. Can I take the VA safety course and then buy a resident hunting license in PA?

This is right off the PA website:

Successful completion of a basic Pennsylvania HTE class, or another state’s equivalent course, is required by state law to obtain a first-time hunting or furtaker license, regardless of age.

You will be fine, there is no residency requirements for taking the hunter ed course, can take it any state,
When applying for hunters license/permit in pa they will then check your license for pa residency and then hunter ed certificate from any state

Yes, you will be fine. PA will accept that. I took mine in OH and only hunted PA my first couple of years.
