I was wonderin what age you have to be to hunt alone in your state. I dont know what it is here, i just go. Im sure 17 is old enough. A lot was about parents letting me go by myself(little overprotective). Last year when i started driving made a big difference. What about you guys?

Here in Alberta I am sure that it is 16...

16 here in ny, but i shot my first Buck alone at 15, and shot my first doe alone too...at 14, so Im a lil Illegal, but oh well.

it' s 14 here, but my dad has let me hunt alone since i ws 10 for small game. i' ve shot ALL my 8 deer(im 13) on my own. i will turn 14 the day before the bow oepener here this year!!

16 here, but since I know the lay of the land very very well, I hunt on my own.

i have been hunting alone for a year or two now and this year i will be hunting deer alone. your supposed to be 14 [ i am 12] to hunt alone but i only hunt alone on land that we own

Not really sure. I think 18 at least but i went a few times by myself when i was about 16, smart move or not.

well since i know our 300+ acre land like the back of my hand and i made 100 on my hunter safty course test i started hunting by my self at 11 and killed my first deer when i was 12 and i was alone at the time and i think we all should have some responsibiltys unless u are just phsyco

You have to be 16 here in PA , the only time i hunted with my was the first 2 years , on teh opener of rifle, and the rest of the time i got alone. I turned 16 in july so i go dove alot after school alone or with another friend. So this year ill have more freedom on spots and how to get there being able to drive , and friends that drive.
