here in maine you cant hunt untill you are 10yrs old. from 10-16 you can hunt w/ an adult. 16 and older cant buy a lisence unless you have taken a course. after you have taken a course and gotten a hunting lisence you never need to show you card again. a previous, adult lisence is proof enough (adult being 16 and older)

Surprisingly enough I was being serious.

Really, do any other states of lifetime licences available? B/c if not, then that means LA is ahead of other states in something besides crime rate and obesity.

I'd def. buy a lifetime license but i see where a lot of states are coming from sky and hooker. Why sell someone a lifetime license for $350.00 when you can get people to spend $180 every year they hunt and fish, thats a lot of extra money for the Division of Wildlife to use for restoration projects, stocking of reservoirs, rivers and streams, and releasing of game such as pheasant, quail, chuckar, and Dove for hunting on public land. I have no problem spending the money knowing it's going to good use and atleast here in Ohio, i beleive it is.

Well then i understand completely It would def. tick me off to be paying that much money every year and have it go to waste. Does Maine have a policy of that money going into a general fund or is it allocated strictly for use by the Division of Wildlife?
