Scouting
I went scouting today to look for turkeys and where to put my blind. We only saw around 15 turkeys. I didn't put my blind up though. Have any of you gone scouting yet???

season starts here on april 25. ive been out every day, i have a flock of around 20 turkeys near my house, a bacholor group of 6 HUGE toms, another two flocks of around 20-30 turkeys each and then a few roads over there is a flock of around 15-20 so in set.

theres really no point in scouting here if your birthday ends in an odd year. the seasons are broken up so an odd year cant hunt untill the second week after all the even year ppl have frigged everything up. if you did go scouting they wouldnt be where you found them anyways in two weeks. i usually go out a couple nights before my week starts and put a few to sleep and go from there. although the seasons alternate every year, so next year i get to go first so ill be the one pissin everyone else off. i think they should let all the bow hunters get a early week regaurdless of birth year so then i could get it over w/
