the place where i catfish at... its illegal to snag... personally i dont see what's so fun about it.... id rather wait and get a rush catchin a big one

I'm sorry but what is snagging?
Its when you let a hook rest right beside a fish then you quickly pull the hook into the fish, thus you get snagging a fish.

And in the end you get something like this(just to let you know this was done by accident they were just trolling along when the stupid fish swam right in front of the lure and hooked himself)

Kids around here snag suckers all the time. Don't know what they do with them, think they just throw them back? The reason it's illegal round here is cause when the suckers are spawning, they wally's are too, wally season usually isn't open, and if you snag a wally, it's bad news bears

I have not gone snagging yet but is should I live in Eastern Kansas by the Maria des Cygne river one of only three to catch Paddle fish out of.
