Toader: From where I am from we can shoot about 90 deer if you drew a tag everyday and shot it that night. Obviously this never happens. You can get a doe tag everday (that they last)and you can shoot a maximum of 2 bucks. Most people only are able to shoot 1. As for people shooting 110 class bucks around my area. That is about unheard of. If you break 100 in the area I live you are a hero to the hunters.
Anyway that deer scores about 130 and if no one shoots him for 2 maybe three years he can score maybe 160 rather than 130. thats why we are disapointed when we shoot deer like that.
If you were to be "disappointed"in a deer that you shoot, your perspective on deer hunting is way off. If you don't want the deer, simply don't shoot it. I don't know if you meant to use the worddisappointed or not but if you were to be "disappointed" in a buck why would you shoot it?

sorry guys disapointed is defineltly the wrong word it's just like JPF said here in sask. we have one deer tag and we like to make it count. It's not that we don't feel grateful for getting a deer like that. If we shoot a deer we are happy no matter what the size. But as everyone knows it's always nice to have a big rack on it's head. I apologize it's just we are from different parts of the world and it's hard to understand others perspectives.

I guess I am stupid, but I don't understand many of you. I don't know how you can not want to shoot a buck like that. I sure don't know anyone personally that would pass on a buck like that, anywhere. Anyway, nice buck congrats.
i completely agree. and very nice buck congrats.
