I was out duck hunting for a youth hunt up by us, and this flock of greenwing teal came zippin in. We called and called and we changed their mind to land in our decoys instead of flying into the refuge. When they were just about 8 ft off the ground, and flying about 300 mph ( all you waterfowlers know how fast they fly) I got up and shot, it crumpled and practically landed inside the boat, off by 3 inches. All the dog had to do was pick it up, didn't even have to get out of the boat!!

The shot itself isn't all that spectacular, but I'm really pleased with it.

*I shot a button buck with my bow at 35 yds back on 11/7. I'm happy with it because it was the first bow kill with my new bow, and I set it up and tuned it all by myself. I got my broadheads to shot 3 inch groups at 40 yds. Then this guy stepped out at 35 (he was actually as close as 7) yards, and I placed the sight pin on him. He went 12 yds after I double lunged him and took out his inferior jugular (major artery under the spine).

Doubled on bluewing teal in teal season and the day before yesterday I did the same on greenwing teal. Also shot a 40+ yard shot on another bluewing that teal season day.

I dont think this is really an "awesome" shot.. but I blistered a nice 6 point from around 150-200 yards right in the white spot this year, trying to live up to old dad. (he always shoots for the neck.)

Last year i shot a button buck in the spine in the neck he was running
and it was in an open field and i knew no one was hunting there or was even close so i shouldered my percussion cap muzzel loader with open sites and shot a little bit in front of him ,he dropped and i paced how far away he was. he was 82 yards

this in no way sounds like napolean dynamite, haha....35 yard shot on a button buck. saw its legs moving through through the woods, got my gun up and as it ran through a 5 yard clearing i shot 'em and he never took another step. i had about 3 seconds to make a running shot on a deer and it went straight down.
