Sawtooth and gobbler sawtooth oaks produce in 5 yrs on avg and when mature they will produce several tons of acorns. The national wild turkey federation sells them at a good price. Call them to order. Apple trees take a few years to produc but will never produce enough unless you plant an orchard, and if there are any bucks around they will rub on the apple trees, probably killing the saplings.

If you form a cage of livestock fence and "T" posts you can reduce the incidents of bucks harming the saplings by rubbing .
